So… I was asked to take some photos for a client for her christmas cards.. She has a 3 lb teacup poodle. Here is a sneak peak.
I’m hoping that some of these turned out well enough for her to be happy.. I’m happy with what I was able to do considering the circumstances. It was a tuff shoot. All I had was my camera, and tripod.. Lots of firsts.. My first technical shoot, first in front of a christmas tree with no flash, first with low light and a tripod etc etc. I didn’t set myself up to have a first easy shoot if you know anything about photography you would agree. Now throw into the picture a dog, and it just increases the difficulty. The upside, I know her, she comes to our daycare, and I think she’s a tad fond of me.. The best pictures actually happened after we got her playing a bit. I knew she needed a break so I took over and let her go crazy for one of her toys, it set her in a better mood. She became little miss attitude. I would love to shoot her in better lighting conditions to really allow me to capture her spirit.. maybe if her mom is happy with these photos. ;o)
Alright back to work.. Oh and it snowed today!! A lot by our usual standards, probably 5 inches. Maybe I can get out tomorrow and get some pics if it doesn’t melt.
