A place I miss..

These shots are from the winter of 2006.  This the lake I practically grew up at. Ever since my parents moved out of the suburbs into the country.. I spent probably close to 15 years visiting, boating, fishing, and exploring this lake.  I don’t visit there nearly as much as I would like these days. For various reasons, one obvious one being distance. I wish I could. One day I would LOVE to live next to a lake, or a river.. I don’t know which I would prefer they both have their ups and downs.. Anyway, just thought I would share. The choice of photos holds little relevance outside of the fact that I think some visits to it would do me good these days. Maybe over christmas break.

Which would you prefer to live by? a lake, or river? or neither?

That’s a tough question … I would love to live by a river for the peaceful sound of running water (oh wait … at that size is it a creek?). I would just love to live near any body of water. Kayaking, swimming, dogs, etc …

Beautiful pictures by the way! Where is that lake?

      Hey,

Running water could be creek, stream, brook, or river.. they all might just have a different sound. I think any body of water (outside of ocean) would be better than none..
And thanks, glad you liked the pics.. That lake is a lake near where my parents live.. private lake out in the boonies
