Here are more snow photos I guess I never got around to posting.. Enjoy..

neighbor's icicles.. they came crashing down while I built my fort, glad I snapped some pictures first.
Check out Luna’s blog for more photos… our neighborhood has gone back to looking pretty normal (and huge). A backhoe finally came in thursday or so and cleared it out a bit, so that you had more than a car wide lane. Kinda weird how well he was able to move the snow to get it out of the way. I still think that it snowed more on our townhouse than others. Chris finally has his car dug out too, we took it out for the first time in probably 2 or 3 weeks, last night. The snow has melted considerably in the last 2 days, but it seems to be soaking in pretty well. I’m happy to see it go, though they say we may get more monday.
This is my first weekend totally off work in who knows how long (maybe since last fall)… no work saturday or sunday.. it’s a little weird as I won’t have monday off, but I will just have to make sure I get chores and cleaning done that I normally would do on monday. Still nice to be free to see family and such. So off I go.
Have a great weekend
Nice…Jim Barnett parkscape has that Ansel Adams feel. Love the crooked brick house shot, very jaunty. The inside of the fort shot is every kid’s dream…where they’re going to live forever. How old are you again??
Thanks, yeah I liked how the landscape turned out.. that genre is not my forte in the least.. some people really have the landscape eye, and I don’t feel I’m one of them. Occasionally I get too blessed to mess it up though. I love how quirky the house shot was, it was really a very quick snap as I felt WAY odd taking a photo of someone’s house while they could very likely be inside.. I’m afraid adulthood has set in a bit concerning the fort (just like with climbing trees).. I once had no problem hanging out in them, bringing candles in and enjoying just being inside a snow house.. now I couldn’t totally shut out the thoughts of it collapsing and how bad that would be.. But I enjoyed the process of creating it very much.. and I did sit in it for a bit and enjoy it. So I would like to say I’m not completely 24.. some part of me is still a kid.. I try to get away with it where I can.
