I was able to get out a bit more with my new lens.. We took a very short trip (due to Chris running into what apparently was a tick nest… long story and 80+ ticks later..) to the arboretum. I managed to catch the storm light a bit before it began to pour. I am quite pleased with both of these first 2 images.. One thing I’m working on personally is metering the shot correctly, I think they both are metered pretty well. I didn’t want to lose the storm light though, so this is the closest to what I experienced in person. I especially love the first shot, and may just have to get it printed and hang it. 🙂
So like I mentioned, our visit there was cut short by the insane amount of ticks we ran into. Before we got in the car we had taken 60+ off Chris, 13 off Luna, and about 5 off myself. Never seen so many in my life all on one person. Anyway check out Luna’s blog for further photos. So far I am quite happy with the new lens.
Things on these blogs will be a bit slow, as I don’t have internet where we live currently so it makes it hard to post often. Soon hopefully. I have puppy pics to share next!
