This is Yoki.. a yellow lab (mix? IMO yes, she is too large, ears are wrong, and eyes too light to be pure lab). I trained her about a month ago, talk about a 180 degree turn around from how she acted in the kennel before training to after. This dog came in on 2 legs, after having jumped out of the car on top of one of our vizslas. If I had to choose one word to sum up her arrival it would be “chaos.” But after the first day of training, she was a completely different dog. Calm and submissive became her new state of mind in the kennel. Now I love having her back for boarding as the family is working the program well at home, and she is a joy to have. Quiet, clean, and fun to take out.
Here is the result of a mini 10 minute photo session in the bird field. Another reason I enjoy seeing training clients back for boarding… we can let them out to run!
She’s a pretty girl eh? I hope to do more posts like this of our clients. I know they enjoy seeing their dogs happy when they have to leave them for a trip. If you are in the Point of Rocks, MD area and want to know more about our kennel send a message or just check out our website.
Enjoy, next up is Max, a GSP here for further hunt training.
