Welcome to week 2 of my main photography project. We are kind of keeping with a theme, but this is largely to blame on the weather we’ve had as of late.
I don’t usually explain images when they’re more of the abstract kind. But I must admit these first 3 photos are rather man made. This is the result of a hose being left attached at night. The cold caused it to leak at the joining sections sending a fine mist into the air which subsequently froze to anything within reach. The first is what it did to the grass, clumping and forming stalagmite like shapes. The next 2 images were results of the spray hitting the fence.
This last image was captured on a walk with the pups (check out Luna’s blog for the latest with the 4 leggers). I have a thing for trees, maybe you’ve noticed? Anyway hopefully we can break the cold winter theme we have going on next week. Today it is rumored to reach into the 40’s, but I would not know as I am staying indoors today in hopes of kicking this cold I’ve had in the butt. You will just have to come back and check.
I really like how the water froze! Great job capturing it, and thanks for the explanation, I thought it was taken through a window or something. Very cool! (no pun intended, hehe)
Love this lone tree, just leaning ever so slightly at the top. Love the foreground, too.
