52 Weeks of Photos: Week 3…

Yep, another late night post. I really need to start blogging in the morning, but this morning was slightly crazy.  Having wanted to originally sleep in (ha, these days that’s like 7:30 AM, 8 if I’m lucky) but plans changed as I needed to drop Luna off for her dog show.  So I was up at 7, out the door around 7:30.  And then most of my day was spent in the kitchen baking and cleaning.  So here is my 3rd weekly post, forgive me for waiting till 10:56 PM.

Another tree image, what can I say, they have been speaking to me lately so I have to shoot them.  This time I went into the BW parameter mode on my camera, which I never have done before and honestly I’m not sure I knew it could do it.  Anyway it was interesting as it forced me to try and see in BW a bit more. I didn’t really so much for this shot, just adjusted the levels sightly as the fog was making the image a little flat.  I have a feeling I will do this more often, just to challenge my eye and brain a bit.  It was foggy the other morning (crazy to think considering we are in the teens tonight) which caused the trees to be extra enticing.  One day I hope to have a whole card set (or 2… or 3) of tree images.  I don’t know why I enjoy shooting them so much, maybe someone can take a stab at why it might be.

Anyway, I have to drive Luna to the show tomorrow, so I really need to try and get some sleep.  Maybe it will result in some dog show photos maybe not though.  Sometimes I like to go places camera-less as then I feel I can enjoy them more without having to worry about the shot (but mostly about having to sort/save/work up the shots later).

Happy Sunday to you all
