52 Weeks of Photos: Week 6

Welcome to week 6!   For once I am posting before nightfall.    I hope you enjoy one of my favorite winter subjects.

Hoar Frost

I like to call this one “Fly Away”  What do you think of when you see this?

Any ideas on how it was created?

And for those who wanted some color...

Hope you have an awesome weekend.

These are so cool! What a different take on frost…you’ve shown them as sort of a landscape all their own. Clever!

Very, very cool. Middle one reminds me of birds. Last one looks totally animated…just waiting to be put to music.

I like these, particularly the first one. My guess about the second image, in some image editing software perhaps?

Welcome, thanks for commenting. About the second image, no, no editing done to them in PS outside of tweaking levels/exposure, and converting to BW.

ooOOoo I really like that middle one!!! I seems so free and just beautiful!! For me it really tells a story, well done!!
As for creation, not sure, I was hoping it was shadows. Your question though has be guessing it could be something different…

    • Anna says:

Thanks, I probably could have done a better job capturing the middle shot (like bring a stinkin’ tripod lol) but didn’t want to miss the chance to shoot it. Not shadows.. actually now I am rethinking what it is, though with how fast it faded I think I’m right. Thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed
