A rare thing: a productive day off

So I had yesterday off from work as I’m working this weekend, and for once I got all the cleaning done on my to-do list and then some.  Granted the list was not long and there is still plenty to be done (story of my life) but even still it was nice to check everything off.

I even managed to finish ironing my strip pairs for my quilt (seen above) now I get to sew again (MUCH better than ironing) and then cut them into blocks.  Hopefully I can finish this thing before summer is out , you can’t  tell but the patterns/colors are not fall colors so it would look inappropriate on the bed so late.  I also got some cooking done but that’ll be for tomorrow.

Now off to run errands for work as the cleaning must now make its way to the kennel.

intimidating to me as well, I thought about making a quilt for almost 2 years before I started cutting fabric lol. Don’t get your hopes too high it could end up to be a big disaster 😉 especially since I doubt I can find more of this pattern and I am pretty positive I will not have enough..

  3. Sounds like a fun project. Be sure to post a pic when you finish it.
