I have spent a lot of time hiking by this river, it’s about time I share it with you.

Nice huh? Especially not bad considering I shot this with my iPhone using the handy dandy Photosynth Ap. Check it out if you don’t already know of it. It does a great job at stitching all on it’s own.
This is the Potomac river, and this location is a favorite of mine due to it being rather quiet (private access). I have taken Luna here since she was a puppy, I am talking probably a week after I got her (bonus of not having a job at the time). So it is a favorite spot for both of us, now we share it with Wyatt too. My river adventures are about to expand this weekend, I will be heading out in a kayak for the first time. I am hoping all goes well and that hopefully we can add a Kayak to our transportation method list. My dream is to bring Luna along in the kayak eventually too. I know you probably think I am crazy to bring a Vizsla in a Kayak, but I do believe we can make it happen (safely).
Any weekend plans for you all? Weather should be lovely here, bout time we get out and enjoy it too.
(Want to hear more about Luna?? Check out Luna’s Blog)
Beautiful! Have a fun weekend. 🙂

So. Incredibly. Jealous. 😮 Looks absolutely beautiful there. I bet Luna and Wyatt love it there. I know someone who just got a new kayak that can fit a vizsla perfectly – can’t imagine a better way to spend a weekend.
No rivers near you?? I am blessed for sure, I live right near a boat launch for Potomac now, so soon as I get one I will have a great place to launch anytime. About 15 minutes from a second even more scenic/quiet river. I really need to take advantage of this, great way to wear Luna out too.
The Mississippi probably wouldn’t be the best option for the dogs , but there are two other rivers here that might be options. I’ve just never been able to find a spot like this before. Perhaps I should keep looking because swimming is such a good way to get the Vs exercise when it really gets hot.
