52 weeks of Photos: Week 19; frustration leads to more dogs…

So we are at week 19 (not 18 as I messed up title last week but fixed it before most had noticed probably)… sadly photos I had looked forward to sharing are not available due to some technical difficulties. More on that later.

Had to share each doing something they love… Luna running in the tall grass, and Wyatt swimming.  Though each of them like to do either of those quite a lot.  This was at a new spot (well for Wyatt), McKee Beshers nature preserve (or something).  It’s about a half hour from here, and now that I will be armed with bug spray it will be a regular spot I think.  Luna has been there as a puppy for some of her AKC hunt tests but had not been back since and she was loving it.  For Wyatt it was a first and he was amped up by Luna being so excited so a good time was had by all.

Can you tell?  Both dogs were sacked out afterward, but it was also pretty warm so that helped wear them out so quickly.  Now for a more artsy shot

We ran into a whole field of this Aster… but this is the only photo I can access at the moment.  After the workshop this past weekend I went back to shooting RAW in hopes of speeding up my work flow.  Well my Adobe CS3 is not so happy about this, and will not let me preview let alone open any RAW CR2 files… so the ones of the field and Luna are not even able to be seen. I guess that’s best if I can’t share them anyhow.   Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this problem? Seems like one problem after another with this program and my iMac.

But I shall not worry about it anymore tonight, for I have work tomorrow and must get sleep.

Hopefully the weather will hold out and we can get to the river with the pups to try out my new fishing reel/rod the Mr. got me.

Happy weekend to you all

Lovely photos, as always. I can even see the excitement in Luna and Wyatt’s eyes. It looks like you had such a wonderful time.

We are going on day 24 of no sunshine here so I am very envious of your trips to the park. I love that I can live vicariously through bloggers like you!

  2. Luna’s ear in the first photo is amazing – look at it fly!! I love days where you can really get some great exercise in so they are tuckered for the rest of the day. We always spend several hours at the park with Gus on weekend mornings so we can get stuff done in the afternoon. 😀

    Your Aster photo is lovely!

  3. Technical difficulties aside, you certainly have some great shots as back up… Love the action in the first one… 🙂

As for your RAW issue, well it’s a simple enough fix, but that depends entirely on what camera you have… You need to download the latest update to Photoshop Camera Raw for CS3, which you’ll find here for the Mac, but if you have a newer camera than those listed then it might not support it… http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4033

    Hope it helps though… 🙂

Look at Wyatt swim! 🙂 I just pictures of running Luna.

  5. Luna and Wyatt look like the most contented dogs in the world! I love your image of the Asters—I feel like I’m watching them bloom right before my eyes. Have a great weekend testing out your new fishing reel/rod. I bet Wyatt is happily looking forward to another dip in the water 😀

Thanks, so days they sure seem like they are, unlike last night where Luna was all kinds of wound up. Hopefully the rain will stop and we can get them out. Luna loves the river too, I used to take her there to swim while I fished, this time we will have to teach wyatt how to do that. SHould be interesting.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend
